If you’ve been watching our playback channels on Comcast or Verizon, you’ve probably noticed that playback can be unreliable at times and crash in the middle of a program. Well, we’ve noticed, too, and we’re extremely excited to announce that we are replacing our playback system!

On September 22nd, there will be a (hopefully) brief interruption of our programming to install this brand new system! Along with this temporary outage, there are a number of features that our new system will be able to handle that our old one could not. Take a look below to read about our impending upgrade!

  • High quality graphic overlays (text crawl with important updates, weather, logo, etc.)
  • Dynamic bulletin board with integrated moving graphics
  • Ability to go live from our 158 Main St studio
  • Integrate a RSS feed
  • ...and many more features on the back end that will make your experience as a viewer so much better!

If you want to learn more about the tech-side of the upgrade, head on over to the CASTUS website and check out the QuickRoll!
