Norfolk’s Fall Town Meeting is right around the corner and we put together this post to help organize all of the information we could find for our community! This may not be an exhaustive list, and we welcome community input to add additional resources. Feel free to add links in the comments below for your fellow community members to see!

Norfolk Fall Town Meeting
When: Tuesday, December 5th at 7pm
Where: Freeman-Kennedy School (cafeteria)

Fall Town Meeting Warrant
It is with great care that the Fall Town Meeting Warrant is prepared, and the final version is up on Norfolk’s website! You can access it by clicking HERE or you can pick up a copy at various locations around town such as the Town Clerk’s office, the Norfolk Public Library, or the Norfolk Senior Center.

Town Meeting Information Session from Nov. 29th
Town officials and residents alike gathered this week at the Norfolk Public Library to discuss some questions about the articles ahead of the official meeting. There is a lot of information packed into this video and it’s a great way to hear some of your neighbors questions answered in order to prepare for the full meeting next week!

Government Meetings Playlist on YouTube
Additionally, all of the warrant items were thoroughly discussed at individual board meetings (which are all open to the public) and can be found HERE on NCTV’s Government Meeting Playlist. I would start with the Advisory Board because they deal directly with preparing for Town Meeting, and then branch out to the specific boards if you still want more information/detail.

Community Resources
Finally, passionate community members have put in a lot of time and effort to create resources to help inform their neighbors about specific issues. This is the section where we could use the most help because we only know about what has come across our desk so far. If you know of additional resources, PLEASE TELL US and we can update this post to reflect the additions! We only seek to disseminate information and we welcome resources from all viewpoints. Either comment below or e-mail katy@norfolkcable.com and we’ll do our best to update this post in a timely manner!

A huge thank you is due to town employees/officials, volunteer board members, and community members who have spent countless hours debating, informing, and organizing in preparation for this important meeting!

Your voice and your vote are important to this community!
