-Chris Labonte wrote, directed, and filmed his newest original movie "The Briefcase" - a short film about a group of criminals who will stop at nothing to find out the contents of a stolen briefcase!
-On Wednesday, the Norfolk Senior Center bid an official farewell to Norma Shruhan as she celebrated her last day on the job as Executive Director after 28 years of service! Stay tuned for an upcoming short program featuring goodbyes and well wishes from Senior Center attendees. A giant Congratulations and Thank You from everyone here at NCTV as we wish her the absolute best!
-Member and volunteer Amelia Schneider performed her cover of the song "To Build A Home" by The Cinematic Orchestra.
-NCTV is proud to announce the start of its annual Media Literacy Month during all of September, featuring informative workshops, open walk-in tech help hours, and media screenings!
-On Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, Chris Lawn will teach our Media Literacy Basics Workshop - an interactive discussion which will encourage attendees to think critically about the overwhelming media presence that has become a staple in our everyday lives as well as learn how to both consume and create responsible media. -As part of our upcoming Media Literacy Month 2016 in September, NCTV is proud to announce our 2nd Annual Public Service Announcement Day on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 3 PM to 8 PM - a wonderful opportunity for local government and non-profit organizations to get their message out to our local community by creating a general message about their organization or promoting a specific event!
