-As part of our upcoming Media Literacy Month 2016 in September, NCTV hosted its (successful!) 2nd Annual Public Service Announcement Day on Thursday and had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from a variety of groups including the Garden Club Of Norfolk, the Norfolk Public Library, Town Administrator Jack Hathaway, the Happy Feat Fundraiser, the Friends Of The Norfolk Council On Aging, Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, the Good Tymes Banjo Band, and the New England Banjo Orchestra into the studio!

-On a new episode of A Walk in the Garden, host Liz Davey potted rosemary from the herb garden to take inside, hand-watered flowers in the perennial garden, reviewed the state of the vegetable garden and showcased a Mexican sunflower, prepared cuttings for the winter at the potting bench, showed how to protect the koi pond during the winter, and prepared a delicious end-of-summer meal consisting of an apple and cabbage salad, a sweet potato and bacon salad, German bratwurst with rye buns, and pumpkin cookies with chocolate kisses!
