Norfolk Community Day is this weekend! That's right, Saturday, June 4, 2016, will be the day that the community gathers once again for family-friendly fun and entertainment. The NCTV Staff and members of our board will be there with cameras in hand, covering as much of the action as possible. So, come enjoy all that Community Day has to offer!

Like any good party these days, there will be several inflatable games, such as the Moon Walk and Obstacle Course. Kids, or anyone for that matter, can get their faces painted. The petting zoo will be back with more farm animals. You can view some great works of art during the Grades 1-6 Art Contest. You can also view some items that you might want to own during the Silent Auction! And for the first time ever, some high-flying frisbee dogs will be doing some amazing tricks!

In addition to all that great stuff, many of the classic Norfolk Community Day activities will be returning this year. Norfolk Recreation's Touch-a-Truck will give everyone an up close look at several different town trucks. Maybe this is your year to compete in the Pie Eating Contest. Or maybe you want to try your luck at big cash prizes in the Golf Ball Drop. There is so much to do for people of any age.

No matter what is happening, all of us at NCTV will be doing our best to cover all the official events that we can. All of the various entertainment acts will be covered, such as Good Tymes Banjo Band, Inspiration, Henry the Juggler, and the Kathy Ryan Dance Studio. Last year, after the plethora of footage was edited, we had a television program that lasted for over four hours! Let's see if we can have an even longer program this year!

Oh and I must remind you all to come visit our booth, too. We'll have plenty of free/purple items for you to take home. We hope to see you there!
