THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.

-The Norfolk Town Election took place on Tuesday, and Executive Director Katy Woodhams wrote a great blog article summarizing NCTV's role in the process and reporting the unofficial election results!

-On Wednesday afternoon, Production Coordinator strode along on A Walk in the Garden with Liz Davey as she picked spices from the herb garden, pruned grapevines and hydrangea in the perennial garden, laid down weed-blocks and row covers in the vegetable garden, transferred tomato plants to larger pots in the garden shed, and put together a light spring meal of pesto & sun-dried tomato pasta, chive popovers, and polenta cake with strawberries and whipped cream.

-Katy Woodhams also headed over to the Freeman-Kennedy Elementary School on Wednesday evening to film the 2016 Freeman-Kennedy School Chorus Spring Concert, led by Mrs. Leslie Levine.

-On Thursday evening, Michael Anzivino - a local Boy Scout who is working on earning his Eagle Scout Rank - filmed a public service announcement putting out a call for people to participate in his Veterans History Project, an opportunity for veterans to share their stories on film to eventually be archived in the Library Of Congress!

-The 2016 Norfolk Spring Town Meeting will be held this upcoming Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 7 PM at the King Philip Regional Middle School.

-On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, NCTV member and volunteer Nils Norgren will teach our Adobe After Effects Basics: Part 1 Workshop - an introduction to this robust graphics editing program which will give some examples of its capability and walk through some simple tasks.  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!
