THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-On Tuesday, Production Coordinator Chris Lawn headed to the Freeman-Kennedy Elementary School to film the symphonic sounds of the Freeman-Kennedy Beginner Band Winter Concert.

-Bill Crane and Duane Weiss filmed and celebrated the 40th episode of The Bill Crane Report, which warned "Yes politicians, liars, cheats, and all those that practice evil in the darkness - Beware!  The truth will win out, and you will be exposed for the bozos you truly are!"

-The NCTV staff was entertained by music from Broadway AND the childhood in the 90s on Thursday as Chris Labonte Sings: Michael Jackson, Mamma Mia, and Aladdin.

-MA State Representative Shawn Dooley presented an MBTA Community Discussion at the Norfolk Public Libary on Thursday evening.


-This upcoming Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, the NCTV staff will teach our Basic Editing: Final Cut Pro X Workshop - where you can learn how to import, edit, add music and sound effects, titles, and so much more!  No prior experience necessary.  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!

-In partnership with the Norfolk Recreation Department, NCTV will be hosting our February Vacation Comedy Skit Program starting on Tuesday, February 16 through Friday, February 19, 2016!  This year, those attending will plan, write, film, and edit a comedy skit (or two!) in the studio.  All students will be expected to participate both in front of and behind the camera.  The videos will then be seen on NCTV's television channels and be uploaded to the NCTV YouTube Channel.  This year is already full (woohoo!), but stay tuned to the NCTV website and the Norfolk Recreation Department Activities Registration Page for information about future programs!
