THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-On Saturday, October 29, a ceremony hosted by Norfolk Community Television and the Norfolk Lions unveiling an honorary bench dedicated to the loving memory of former NCTV Board President Jack McFeeley was held on Town Hill and featured loving speeches, warm memories, and music.

-Last Monday, Production Coordinator Chris Lawn captured the spooky and spectacular 2016 H. Olive Day Halloween Parade!

-Bill Crane, Gary Patterson, and Duane Weiss filmed new episodes of The Bill Crane Report and The Bill Crane Sports Report.

-Programming Coordinator Andrew Barker visited the Freeman-Kennedy Elementary School to film the official unveiling of the Freeman-Kennedy School History Wall, a Girl Scout Gold Award Project created and led by Eleanor Spellman of Norfolk Girl Scout Troop 73616!  Great job Eleanor!

-On a new episode of Our Town, host Jill Lawrence welcomed local Norfolk Brownie Troop 86063 to talk about the REFCA Suitcase Project Challenge - a community effort involving collecting, buying, and donating new suitcases and luggage to children in the foster care system so that they have something to call their own.

-In honor of Veterans day, the students of Norfolk paid tribute to those who have served in the military at the 2016 Freeman-Kennedy Veterans Day Assembly.


-NCTV will be covering the 2016 Norfolk Special Fall Town Meeting this upcoming Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 7 PM at the King Philip Middle School.

-On Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, Chris Lawn will teach our Basic Camera Workshop - a class which introduces basic camera operations that can be applied to any camera and also covers basic filming techniques!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!

-NCTV will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, 2016, for Thanksgiving.
