THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-Bill Crane and Duane Weiss came into the studio on Tuesday to film a new episode of The Bill Crane Report "featuring sound reasoning and clear thinking."

-On Tuesday evening, the NCTV staff taught our Basic Camera Workshop - a class which introduced basic camera operations that can be applied to any camera and also went into detail with the two different consumer cameras that NCTV offers!

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn took A Walk in the Garden with Liz Davey as she checked on the state of her tender perennials covered by baskets for winter protection, instructed how to do a germination test on old seeds, began some pre-season planting, and cooked a hearty beef stew accompanied by a corn-and-potato scone and caramel popcorn.

-Town Administrator Jack Hathaway and Norfolk Selectman Chair Jim Lehan discussed the results of the Public Safety Building Vote last Tuesday (it passed!) on a new Conversation Corner and presented some facts and figures in an effort to educate the public about how Norfolk compares to some of the surrounding towns in terms of tax rates and total value of property.


-This upcoming Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, the NCTV staff will teach our Basic Editing: iMovie Workshop - a class that will teach the how-to's of Apple's user friendly iMovie editing program!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!

-The Massachusetts Presidential Primary Vote in Norfolk will take place at the Freeman-Kennedy Elementary School on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 7 AM to 8 PM.
