-On Tuesday, Executive Director Katy Woodhams led our Basics Of Mobile Devices Workshop to a group of eager and engaged students who brought in a variety of devices including iPhones, iPads, Google tablets, and laptops!

-Host and member Steven Olaska edited a fun promo for his new series Norfolk Late Nite, so keep an eye out for it on our channels!

-On Wednesday, Gary Patterson joined Bill Crane in the studio on Wednesday for a new episode of The Bill Crane Sports Report.

-As part of Media Literacy Month, NCTV hosted a screening of Consuming Kids on Thursday, a documentary produced by the Media Education Foundation that focuses on the explosive growth of child marketing in the wake of deregulation, showing how youth marketers have used the latest advances in psychology, anthropology, and neuro-science to transform American children into one of the most powerful and profitable consumer demographics in the world!


-This upcoming Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, NCTV Board Member Jeff Chalmers will teach our Social Media Workshop, an opportunity to get on board with current trends and demystify Facebook, Twitter, and more, so come ready with questions and see how to utilize these impressive online tools to keep up with family and friends!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!
