THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-On Monday, Christina Gleason filmed the Freeman-Kennedy Beginning Band 2015 Spring Concert, which featured the next generation of young talented performers whom we may see in the Advanced Band AND the King Philip Band in the near future! 

-Instructor Nils Norgren taught Part 2 of After Effects: No-Budget Visual Effects on Tuesday and showed attendees a variety of animation techniques as well as resources for learning and inspiration.

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn headed to the H. Olive Day School for the 2015 Kindergarten Memory Show, a performance by this year's Kindergarten class to demonstrate some of what they have learned as well as celebrate their first official year of school.

-NCTV host and producer Anne Marie Battistone came into the studio for more Stories To Explore, including "The Tale of Tom Kitten" and "The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse."  Stay tuned to our schedule page to find out when you can enjoy them!


-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn will teach Part 1 of Studio Production this upcoming Tuesday, June 23, 2015 starting at 6:30 PM.  If you're interested in finding out more info or signing up, click here!

-NCTV will be covering the 2015 Town Hill Summer Concert Series starting with the premiere performance by the Bill McGoldrick Duo with Danielle Jean this upcoming Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 6:30 PM.

-NCTV will hold its first Public Service Announcement Day on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 12 PM to 5 PM, which will be an opportunity for non-profit and government organizations to visit the station and film PSAs.  If you're interested, sign-up will be available at Community Day OR by contacting the station directly at any time between now and September.
