THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-Instructor Katy Woodhams taught Working Together: Adobe Photoshop And Adobe After Effects, which introduced the basics of both programs and educated attendees on how to create something cool in Photoshop and then import the layers to AE to make it move!

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn and Programming Coordinator Andrew Barker headed to the H. Olive Day Elementary School for Mother's Day Tea with Mrs. Gallagher and her class performing songs to show love to all the moms in attendance.

-Bill Crane and Duane Weiss sat down with an undercover cop to discuss the ongoing illegal drug problem and general life on the job for a new Bill Crane Report.

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn also met up with Liz Davey for A Walk in the Garden, where she shows how to properly plant seeds, use wiring to hold plants up, feeds and tends to her koi fish, and uses often overlooked herbs to make a delicious soup and frittata.


-NCTV will film The 2015 Annual Norfolk Town Meeting at King Philip Junior High School this upcoming Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 7 PM.

-Our Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015, at 6 PM and we welcome and encourage any and all members, as well as those interested in learning about the station, to attend!

-NCTV will hold its first Public Service Announcement Day on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 12 PM - 5 PM, which will be an opportunity for non-profit and government organizations to visit the station and film PSAs.  If you're interested in signing up, NCTV will have a table at Norfolk Community Day, so come visit us!
