THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-NCTV member and volunteer Donna L. Jones filmed the beautiful musical performances at the annual King Philip High School Winter Pops Concert.

-On Sunday, Donna was joined by member and volunteer Brendan McLaughlin to capture all of the colorful sights and sounds of the Norfolk Santa Parade and Tree Lighting sponsored by the Norfolk Lions Club.

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn took A Walk in the Garden with Liz Davey as she added crushed leaves to the herb garden for extra winter protection, checked out the state of the perennial and veggie garden, showcased her holiday-decorated window boxes, handmade Christmas wreaths, and cooked a scrumptious cream of chicken soup accompanied by a dressed spinach salad and a warm cream-filled holiday dessert roll.

-Longtime Norfolk resident John Fuller came into the studio to record an audio narrative for the blind of the geological and industrial history of the land we now refer to as the Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary.


-This upcoming Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, the NCTV staff will teach Part 2 of our Stop Motion Animation Workshop, where we'll take a look at how it's done and actually create our own together using Legos, paper, drawings, or whatever else fits your fancy!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!
