THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-On Monday, NCTV volunteers Donna L. Jones and Steven Olaska began editing Stony Brook 2015 Fall Fair and The 2nd Annual Wood Duck Derby!  All proceeds from the fair and derby went to benefit the Norfolk Community League and the Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary.  Stay tuned to our channels and schedules to see the finished special!

-Norfolk Police Officer Michelle Palladini came into the studio on Tuesday to film a public service announcement about the Norfolk Police Department.

-The NCTV staff taught our On Location Shooting (with GoPro!) workshop, which included how to utilize a variety of different cameras while on location, looked at our pro-sumer cameras for proper set-up, and explored how to use the GoPro camera (and all the fancy mounts we have!).

-Bill Crane and Duane Weiss demonstrated "the pinnacle in proper behavior" on a new Bill Crane Report.


-NCTV will be CLOSED this upcoming Monday, October 12, 2015 in honor of Columbus Day.

-This upcoming Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, NCTV Board Member Jordan Tynes will teach Editing with Adobe Premiere Pro which will be a great beginner overview of the editing process using this innovative software!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!
