THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-On Tuesday, NCTV Board Member Jordan Tynes taught our Editing with Adobe Premiere Pro workshop (to a sizable turnout!) and provided a great beginner overview of the editing process using this innovative software!

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn took A Walk in the Garden with Liz Davey as she prepped the herb garden and perennial garden for the winter, planted bulbs around her driveway, reviewed the state of the vegetable garden, took plants inside for winter safekeeping, and made a delicious black bean and pumpkin soup accompanied by a cheese dip and candy corn cookies.

-NCTV volunteers Steven Olaska and Chris Labonte came into the studio Thursday evening to check out equipment to film the Norfolk Haunted Train Ride tomorrow evening from 5 PM - 8 PM at the Holmes property.

-Donna Jones also came into the studio and grabbed a camera to film the Norfolk Fire Department Open House tomorrow from 11 AM - 2 PM.


-This upcoming Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, the NCTV staff will teach Lighting with Available Lights & Lamps which will include using available light and common household lamps to achieve professional-looking 3-point lighting!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!

-The Norfolk Special Fall Town Meeting will take place at the King Philip Middle School on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 7 PM.
