Monday is the beginning of school vacation week and what is more fun than coming to our Middle School Production Program?!

I loved watching the whole project come together.
— Emma, February 2013 Student

NCTV hosts a week long program for middle school aged kids (12+) to teach them everything they need to know about studio production. This coming week, we have some special plans up our sleeve to have the kids participate in a real shoot. They will get to be the camera operators, sound techs, directors, and switcher operators. The program is run through Norfolk Recreation and taught by Station Manager, Dan, Program Coordinator, Donna, and myself (Editor, Katy!) We have all been involved in different productions over the years and can use our unique experiences to teach and guide our students.

Our program has a maximum of 10 participants and there is still time to sign up if you haven't already! Head on over to our Kid's Program page to check out our past programs and to Norfolk Recreation's Activity Reg page to sign up!

If you have two and half minutes to spare, take a look at what our February break 2013 campers had to say about their experience at NCTV!
