Electric Youth - 2014

Electric Youth - 2014

It’s the time of year again to catch the Summer Concert Series on Town Hill put on by Norfolk Recreation! Take in the sounds of local talent while watching the pink and orange summer sunsets dance across the sky with this weekly series of free concerts! We look forward to this series each year because it is such a wonderful and happy experience to see our town come together for the love of music and to see the kids (and kids at heart) dancing like there’s no tomorrow!

Norfolk Recreation has put together a great lineup for this summer:
JUNE 23 - Last Call (Contemporary Country) Sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway Page Realty
JUNE 30 - Bill McGoldrick Acoustic Duo with Danielle Jean
JULY 7 - Southeastern Mass Community Concert Band
JULY 14 - The Reminisants, Sponsored by William Raveis Delta Realtors
JULY 19 - Alastair Moock (Children’s concert on TUESDAY at 6pm in the Norfolk Public Library) Co-sponsored with Friends of NPL
JULY 21 - Franklin School of Performing Arts Electric Youth
JULY 28 - King Philip High School World Percussion Ensemble & El Caribe Steel Drum Band, Sponsored by Boyde’s Crossing
AUGUST 4 - Ridgefield Crossing

The rain date for each show is the following Monday, check Rec’s facebook page for weather updates (you'll have to be signed into Facebook to see it!) Special thanks to Norfolk County Mold & Mosquito Terminators for spraying Town Hill to limit mosquitos.

We do our best at NCTV to capture the sights and sounds of the event but for the full effect, make sure you get there in person! There’s no denying that the best way to hear music is to experience it live!

We plan to be at all of the concerts (except the children’s concert) and would love your help! If you’re interested in volunteering to film a concert or two, please contact us! We’re happy to provide free training on either of our cameras for a smooth filming experience.

Check out our YouTube playlist for the 2014 and 2015 concerts!
