THIS WEEK:

-Executive Director Katy Woodhams visited Milford TV in Milford, MA, to check out their studio and discuss potential future collaborations!

-NCTV hosted our Social Media Workshop, where attendees learned about basic sharing and privacy settings for social media sites and got the opportunity to ask a variety of questions in order to learn how to better protect themselves and their loved ones.

-On Tuesday evening, Programming Coordinator Andrew Barker and NCTV member and volunteer Donna L. Jones headed to the Norfolk Public Library to film the Proposed Spectra Pipeline Community Meeting featuring speakers and information about the pipeline itself, possible dangers and risk factors, and its potential impact on Norfolk residents.

-The station welcomed guest host Marie A. Wyman, host of the Northborough Cable Access TV program Close To Home with Marie Wyman, into the studio to film the special Hometown Hero: Kevin Brady, a gripping interview with a local Norfolk Fire Department paramedic and firefighter.

COMING UP:

-Donna L. Jones will be capturing the sights and sounds of the 2016 Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary Fall Fair this upcoming Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 10 AM to 4 PM featuring the 3rd Annual Wood Duck Derby presented by the Norfolk Community League.

-On Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, NCTV Board Member Jordan Tynes teach our Copyright Primer Workshop - an informational meeting and round-table discussion where attendees can bring questions about the (often confusing and tricky) rules and laws around copyright in media!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!
