THIS WEEK:

-NCTV member and volunteer Chris Labonte finished editing the music video for his original song "Music Boy" and performed his recently produced song "Music" in the main studio.

-On Wednesday afternoon, Production Coordinator Chris Lawn strolled along on A Walk in the Garden with Liz Davey as she discussed the effects of the drought and the water ban on the herb garden and perennial garden, provides updates about the state of the plants in the vegetable garden, demonstrates a technique for preserving small plant cuttings, and puts together a tasty summer meal of vegetable stir-fry, green bean fries with homemade honey mustard sauce, fresh lemonade, and mini lavender-nectarine cupcakes!

-Senior Meeting Producer Christina Gleason filmed the Norfolk Board Of Selectmen Meeting Tuesday night, and Programming Coordinator Andrew Barker filmed the Norfolk Recreation Commission Meeting on Wednesday night.

-Donna L. Jones and Amelia Schneider, NCTV members and volunteers, filmed the Norfolk Town Hill Summer Concert Series featuring The KP World Percussion Ensemble & El Caribe Steel Drum Band.

COMING UP:

-On Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, Production Coordinator Chris Lawn will teach our Basic Camera Workshop - a class introducing basic camera operations that can be applied to any camera and which also goes into detail about the two different consumer cameras that NCTV offers!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!

-Our second Stop-Motion Program of the summer will take place starting the week after next.  Although this round is already full, stay tuned to the Norfolk Recreation Department Registration Page for info about future programs!
