-On Tuesday evening, the NCTV staff taught our Production Planning and Storyboarding Workshop where attendees learned the basic concepts behind planning a production, the vital differences between fiction and non-fiction, important questions and concepts to thinking while planning, and what to keep in mind when figuring out the logistics of a studio or field shoot.
-NCTV Board Member Jill Lawrence came into the studio on Wednesday to edit a promo video for the upcoming First Annual Norfolk Color Run on Friday, June 3, 2016 starting at 5 PM at Freeman-Kennedy Elementary School. Sponsored by the Norfolk Parent Teacher Organization.
-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn headed to the Freeman-Kennedy School on Thursday afternoon to film the beautiful creative work made by the young talented students at the 2016 Freeman-Kennedy Art Show.
-NCTV hosted its first official monthly Open House on Thursday evening in an effort to welcome new faces and provide opportunities for residents, non-members, and new members to get acquainted with the station and find out who we are, what we do, and information about upcoming volunteer opportunities and how to get involved! We will be hosting our regular NCTV Open House on the first Thursday of every month at 7 PM, and we hope to see you there!
-This upcoming Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, Executive Director Katy Woodhams will teach our Photoshop Basics Workshop - an opportunity to learn all about layers and the basic tools you'll need to start exploring this exciting program as well as how to create basic graphics and how to retouch photos!
