THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television's blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.

THIS WEEK:

-On Tuesday, Production Coordinator Chris Lawn taught Part 1 of Studio Production which included a tour of the studio itself and an overview of cameras, lighting, sound, and building sets!

-On Wednesday, the NCTV staff went to the Freeman-Kennedy School to say goodbye to this year's graduates for the Freeman-Kennedy Grade 6 Promotion Ceremony.

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn headed to the Norfolk Senior Center to visit with Norma Shruhan and Richard Connors for the July 2015 edition of Silver Set Gazette.

-Volunteer Amelia Schneider climbed the town hill to film the first performance of the 2015 Town Hill Summer Concert Series featuring The Bill McGoldrick Acoustic Duo with Danielle Jean.

COMING UP:

-Katy Woodhams will teach Part 2 of Studio Production this upcoming Tuesday, June 30, 2015 starting at 6:30 PM, which will cover the behind-the-scenes magic that happens in the control room.  If you're interested in finding out more info or signing up, click here!

-NCTV will be CLOSED next Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3, 2015 in honor of Independence Day.

-NCTV will hold its first Public Service Announcement Day on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 12 PM to 5 PM, which will be an opportunity for non-profit and government organizations to visit the station and film PSAs.  If you're interested in signing up, call the station directly at 508-520-2780 OR email Chris Lawn at chris@norfolkcable.com any time between now and September.
