THIS WEEK:

-NCTV had a wonderful time at The 2015 Norfolk Community Day on Saturday.  If you weren't able to make it OR if you were but would like a reminder of some of the highlights, check out Production Coordinator Chris Lawn's blog re-capping the events of that beautiful day!

-On Tuesday, instructor Nils Norgren taught Part 1 of After Effects: No-Budget Visual Effects and demonstrated how to create a simple and fun wormhole portal effect.

-Production Coordinator Chris Lawn and Programming Coordinator headed to the Freeman-Kennedy and H. Olive Day Schools to film this year's Field Day activities.

-Executive Director Katy Woodhams filmed the performance of talented young individuals at the H. Olive Day Presentation of "The Wizard Of Oz".

COMING UP:

-Instructor Nils Norgren will teach Part 2 of After Effects: No-Budget Visual Effects this upcoming Tuesday, June 16, 2015 starting at 6:30 PM.

-NCTV will hold its first Public Service Announcement Day on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 12 PM to 5 PM, which will be an opportunity for non-profit and government organizations to visit the station and film PSAs.  If you're interested, sign-up will be available at Community Day OR by contacting the station directly at any time between now and September.
